Additional Cleaning

Your oral health plays a vital role in your overall wellbeing—especially when managing specific health conditions. Chemotherapy, During Pregnancy, Heart Disease, Organ Transplant, Suppressed Immunity, End-Stage Renal Disease, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 2 and 3 can all increase your risk of gum inflammation and infection.

That’s why we’re offering an extra dental cleaning for members with these conditions. This preventive care helps protect your oral and overall health, supporting your treatment and recovery journey.

Eligible members on the following plans can activate this benefit using the form below: Healthy Smiles Levels 3 & 4, TeamCare Levels 3 & higher and TeamCare Access Levels 3 & 3+.

Topical Fluoride Treatment

Certain health conditions can make your teeth more vulnerable to decay and sensitivity. Chemotherapy, Organ Transplants, End-Stage Renal Disease, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 2 and 3 can all increase oral health risks.

That’s why we’re offering one topical fluoride treatment per calendar year for members with these conditions. This quick, protective treatment strengthens enamel and helps prevent cavities, keeping your smile strong and healthy.

Additional Periodontal Maintenance

Diabetes and oral health are closely connected—each can affect the other. Individuals with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes are at higher risk for gum disease, which can make managing blood sugar more difficult.

That’s why we’re offering additional periodontal maintenance cleanings for members with diabetes. These visits help protect your gums, support better blood sugar control, and promote overall wellness.

Dental Case Management for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

We understand that dental care can require extra planning and support for individuals on the autism spectrum. Members diagnosed with ASD Level 2 and 3 can now receive €100 toward the cost of a dental visit for investigative, preventive, basic or major treatments.

This Dental Case Management benefit helps make dental care more accessible and comfortable, supporting personalised care and a positive dental experience.
