How to Use the DeCare App

A Simple Step by Step Guide

Managing your dental and vision benefits has never been easier. With the DeCare app, you can submit claims, find healthcare providers, track your claims, and manage your account, all from your phone.

Here’s a simple guide to help you get started and make the most of the app.

Getting Started

First, download the DeCare app from the App Store or Google Play. Once installed, log in using your member details. If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it directly within the app.

How to Submit a Claim

Submitting a claim through the app is quick and straightforward.

For Dental and Vision Claims

Select the member you are making the claim for.
Upload or take a photo of your itemised receipt.
Add your bank details (you will only need to do this ONCE, they will save on the app automatically after that).
Enter your dentist or optician’s details and submit your claim.

That’s it. Your claim is sent in just a few taps.

How to Find a Healthcare Provider

Need to find a dentist or optician? The app makes this easy.

Go to the FINDER section in the bottom navigation bar.
Select DENTAL PRACTICES or VISION PRACTICES.
Use the filter option to narrow results by location or direct pay providers.
Choose a provider from the list to view full details, including location and contact info.

How to Track your Claim

Once you’ve submitted a claim, you can monitor it’s progress directly in the app.

Navigate to your claims section.
View the status of each clam in real time.

This gives you full visibility, so you always know where your claim stands.

Manage your Account

The My Account section gives you access to everything related to your profile.

Here, you can

View your policy documents.
Contact customer support.
Update your personal details.
Log out of the app.

To update your details, simply go to MY ACCOUNT and select MANAGE in the top right corner.

The app also includes a Health Blog where you can read the latest articles on dental and vision care. Just select HEALTH BLOG from the navigation bar to explore helpful tips and insights.
